COMMUNITY
E-BIKING

Finding & joining your local bike groups

E-biking is more than a solo activity and, in fact, biking communities tend to be some of the most welcoming and tight-knit groups. With e-bikes gaining in popularity every day, you just might have a local e-bike group in your city!

Whether you’re new to the e-bike scene, new to a city or just new to the idea of joining a group, Meetup is a great place to start your search. You can search by location and group size and automatically see more information on group rules, contact and upcoming events. The best way to get involved is to put yourself out there, so joining local community Facebook groups and simply showing up to events is a fantastic way to insert yourself right into the community.

You can also check out organizations like People for Bikes, which have aggregated information on e-bike legislature, common routes and more. Sometimes the best way to meet others is out in-person, so biking the most popular areas will likely put you in the proximity of local clubs.

And Facebook Groups is always going to be one of the best community aggregators. Simply search for e-bike clubs in your area and you’ll likely find an existing community to join. You can contact members right through Facebook and also keep track of upcoming group events and rides.

We’ve done some of the research for you in booming e-bike areas! Here are some of the fastest-growing communities by state:
